Feliks Garcia is a journalist for The Independent. Previous work can be found at Daily Dot, and NTRSCTN, owned and operated by Complex Magazine. Feliks focuses on race, gender, and social justice, but he also finds time to write humor and satire. He also founded CAP Magazine, a web-magazine that published stellar work by writers and visual artists around the globe.

Feliks holds an MA from the University of Texas at Austin in Media Studies with a focus on race, gender, film, and television. He earned his BA from Hampshire College, where he studied US-Mexico Border Politics.
